Candice is considering retirement in 5 years. She wants to enjoy more freedom, energy and connection in her life. She was practicing yoga and meditation fairly often when we met.
Candice is a breast cancer survivor and places a high value on her wellbeing, yet she felt something was missing in her routine. She suffered from chronic constipation, energy fluctuations, frequent waking throughout the night, and overwhelm with daily decisions and routine.
Candice joined the S.E.E. Your Wellbeing community with the desire to feel more grounded, focused and organized in her life. She wanted to develop self-care habits that would allow her to move into the next phase of her life (retirement and grandmotherhood) with easeful flow.
During the first round of the habits, she hit a wall of resistance around meal planning and an even bigger wall around self-worth. She hated cooking. She didn't feel she was worth the time and energy it took to care for herself.
Now on her third round through the course, Candice expresses that she values herself in a new light. "Later is now" is her new mantra. She plans her meals almost every week. She embraces her morning ritual. She is sharing recipes and meals with the community. And she is approaching her next growing edge, consistent movement practices, with joy and curiosity.
Candice serves as a role model for our community: "When you release the resistance, you find your flow...but it takes some time. Be patient and open".
