Easeful Impact: How to Thrive While Nourishing Your Tribe
In this episode of the Changemaker Challenge, Cate and Grace discuss how to thrive while nourishing your tribe. Most wellness pros or “pro healers” have experienced some version of frustration or burn out. Often that comes down to whether or not we are living in integrity what we’re teaching others. If we are living in integrity, the next step is to uplevel to thrive. The first step toward thrive is to follow the energy of empowerment, of shakti. It’s asking yourself what you really want to be doing and figuring out how to do it. What many of us want is to work with people on a deeper level to bring them through an experience of healing. In order to do that, we need clients, students and members who are willing to commit to doing deeper work. Those clients, students, and members are naturally drawn to us when we are thriving.
Having the right business model also leads us to thrive. The community or tribe business model allows for a deeper commitment and a deeper transformation of the people you work with while cultivating a more relaxed environment for growth. Creating membership, or tribe, helps clients connect with each other, facilitates growth, and helps wellness pros empower their clients through collective leadership. With this business model, clients become members and members become leaders, which frees up your time and energy, and increases your impact.

- 4:10 – Most wellness pros or “pro healers” have experienced some version of frustration or burn out. Often that comes down to whether or not we are living in integrity what we’re teaching others. If we are living in integrity, the next step is to uplevel to thrive.
- 9:00 – The first step toward thrive is to follow the energy of empowerment, of shakti. It’s asking yourself what you really want to be doing and figuring out how to do it. What many of us want is to work with people on a deeper level to bring them through an experience of healing. In order to do that, we need clients, students and members who are willing to commit to doing deeper work. Those clients, students and members are naturally drawn to us when we are thriving.
- 14:15 – Our journey to thrive is ongoing. We should always be upleveling and refining the practices we teach. At the same time, being honest with our clients about how and when we struggle builds trust and lets our clients know that what we’re teaching is totally doable.
- 19:00 – When you’re following the shakti and living in thrive, your habits are not your own. If you’re living with and/or in relationship with others, there’s a conversation, a negotiation, that needs to happen around what you’re doing, what you need from others, and what others need from you. Identifying values and holding family meetings are a great way to navigate that.
- 22:00 – Part of the work that happens in the Awake Living course is to help members realize what phase of their dharma they are in and what dharma is asking them to do next. Taking small steps toward that and letting go of the limitations of perfectionism is the fastest path toward the next level of dharma. On that path, we need to practice deep self care with the support of the people we live with.
- 25:30 – Having the right business model also leads us to thrive. The community or tribe business model allows for deeper commitment and a deeper transformation of the people you work with while cultivating a more relaxed environment for growth.
- 31:15 – When you know you need to make changes, you need to take action quickly in order to realize your dharma, catalyze shakti, and phase out what is keeping you from doing what you really want to be doing.
- 33:10 – There’s a growth path and a depth path, and each contributes to our thrive.
- 35:15 – Creating membership, or tribe, helps clients connect with each other, facilitating growth, and helps wellness pros empower their clients through collective leadership. With this business model, clients become members and members become leaders, which frees up your time and energy, and increases your impact. The “How to Build a Tribe” webinar explains how to do that.
- 39:00 – In the next Changemaker Challenge episode, Cate and Grace will discuss how Cate’s webinars differ from other webinars. So watch the “How to Build a Tribe” webinar and get in on the discussion!
